SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM

FOUNDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER LERNARD MACK

Lernard Mack is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kids U 32, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people through leadership development, media education, environmental literacy, and community engagement. As CEO, Lernard leads the organization’s vision, strategy, and partnerships, building programs that equip youth with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Lernard’s leadership combines the discipline of elite athletics, the operational rigor of Fortune 500 corporate management, and the mission-driven focus of community development. This unique combination allows him to translate bold ideas into scalable programs that deliver measurable results.

The Executive Athlete Mindset

Lernard’s leadership journey began long before founding Kids U 32. A two-time All-American linebacker at Texas Southern University, he will be inducted into the Texas Southern University Football Hall of Fame in 2026—a recognition of his legacy of discipline, resilience, and team leadership.

Those same principles now guide his work as a CEO: building strong teams, executing strategy with precision, and delivering impact under pressure.

Driving Revenue and Operational Excellence

Throughout his corporate career, Lernard demonstrated a strong ability to manage complex financial operations and deliver measurable outcomes.

At Stryker Corporation, he managed a $1.6 million annual portfolio of federal and civilian healthcare contracts, overseeing compliance, financial performance, and operational execution across multiple institutions. His work required meticulous attention to detail and adherence to strict federal standards, reinforcing his reputation for data-driven decision-making and operational precision.

Founder of Kids U 32

As Founder and CEO of Kids U 32, Lernard created an organization designed to expand opportunities for young people through innovative programming that blends media education, leadership development, science learning, and community collaboration.

These partnerships help deliver programs that prepare youth for careers in technology, sustainability, and media innovation.

Leadership in Clean Energy and Community Innovation

In addition to leading Kids U 32, Lernard has worked at the intersection of clean energy development and community impact. Through his work supporting renewable energy initiatives and multifamily housing development programs, he has helped connect communities with sustainable infrastructure solutions that reduce energy costs and expand access to environmental innovation. At Sunrun he secured more than $2 million in competitive federal and philanthropic funding, including support connected to initiatives involving the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).

Vision for the Future

As Founder and CEO, Lernard Mack is building Kids U 32 into a national platform that prepares young people to lead in the fields of technology, media, sustainability, and civic engagement.

His vision is simple:
when young people are given access to knowledge, mentorship, and opportunity, they become the leaders who transform communities.

Through Kids U 32, Lernard is committed to ensuring that the next generation is equipped not only to succeed but to shape a stronger, more innovative future for all.
